Editorial policy

Token & Taste publishes practical workflows for people using AI in creative and knowledge work. We aim to make the evidence, judgment, limitations, and next action visible—not to make every tool sound capable or every experiment sound conclusive.

How we evaluate a workflow

We define the task and success criteria before drawing a conclusion. When an article reports a test, we record the relevant tool, conditions, date, inputs, and limitations. Illustrative examples are labeled and are not presented as observations. Product behavior can vary by model, account, interface, and date.

Claims and sources

Consequential factual claims should be traceable to an appropriate source. We prefer primary documentation for product behavior and identify when a vendor is describing its own product. Independent evidence is used where the claim requires it. A source count is not a substitute for source quality, and opinion or editorial judgment is identified as such.

Review and independence

A human editor is accountable for verification, framing, editing, and publication. Commercial relationships do not determine editorial conclusions. Sponsorship, affiliate relationships, and meaningful AI assistance are disclosed where relevant.

Updates and corrections

Articles show publication and review dates from editorial metadata; a site build does not manufacture a new update date. Material changes or corrections receive a dated note that explains what changed. Read the corrections policy to report a possible error.
